Are You a Re-Watcher?
Once you’ve seen a show, do you go back and rewatch it? Matt absolutely will, I often catch a glimpse of the Office or Arrested Development on his phone. For me...I’ve got admit, it’s not my first choice!
But this piece in Vox has me rethinking the power of a re-watch. It’s a Q&A with someone who studied this phenomenon and our motivations behind it. As the researcher notes, it's less about nostalgia and more a way for the watcher to “appreciate how much they had grown.”
