The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made the first royal coronavirus-awareness engagement Thursday, with a visit to an NHS call centre. Kate and Will thanked the staff there for their work, but steered clear of any handshaking or touching per social distancing guidelines. The young royals will likely be the face of the family’s response to the global pandemic; the Queen is turning 94 next month and Prince Charles is 71, and both have paused their public diaries. “Catherine and I were proud to visit staff working at NHS 111, to pass on our personal thanks,” Will said, “along with those of my grandmother and father, to staff working around the clock to provide care and advice to those that need it most.”

You can read more about the Cambridges’ visit at Hello! magazine and BAZAAR.com.

What do you think of Kate’s pantsuit? Let’s discuss in the comments! Also: If it feels weird to talk about the royals and/or fashion, maybe just share about your thoughts on life? Sometimes it helps to talk it out? We’re all in this together (digitally speaking, obviously, and therefore appropriately distanced!).
