The Duchess of Sussex marked International Women’s Day with a visit to an east London School on Friday. She met with students at the Robert Clack School in Dagenham and delivered a speech on gender equality and the importance of equal rights. “No matter how small you might feel, how low you may feel on the ladder or the totem pole, no matter what color you are, no matter what gender you are—you have a voice, and you certainly have the right to speak up for what is right.”

Royal reporters suggested on Twitter that this would be Meghan’s final solo engagement as a senior royal. More of Meghan’s remarks can be found at Town & Country and BAZAAR.com.
